Artown is a monthlong multidisciplinary arts festival held in Reno each July, featuring over 500 events across 100+ venues spanning music, theater, dance, film, workshops, and visual arts. Regarded by the National Endowment for the Arts as one of the most comprehensive arts festivals in the country, Artown presents regional, national, and international artists—most events are free or low-cost. Downtown3rd Farmers Market has operated year-round since 2012 in a repurposed bus depot at Casino Center and Stewart, just south of the Mob Museum. Las Vegas' largest indoor farmers market, it pulls produce, artisanal prepared foods, crafts, and live acoustic music—and draws heavy foot traffic from local chefs scouting ingredients for their restaurants.
