Special mushroom-themed community festival held at the Marion Tailgate Market as a first-Saturday community festival.

Annual festival celebrating Latino and Hispanic culture in McDowell County. Traditional dances, live music, cultural performances, food vendors, and craft vendors from across the county and surrounding areas. Hosted by Centro Unido Latino Americano. Organizers invite merchants, artisans, and organizations to participate as vendors. Free and open to the public.

Annual Small Business Saturday craft crawl in downtown Marion. 50+ crafters and artisans set up along the sidewalks of Main Street, hosted by participating downtown businesses. Organized by Marion Business Association.

18th annual downtown festival celebrating the local livermush tradition. Food truck rodeo, craft vendors, hog calling and pig squealing contests, kids' activities, live music. Presented by Marion Business Association.

Vendor applications open; acceptance emails sent starting January 2026. $60 per 12x12 booth space; nonprofits free with documentation. Payment due within one month of acceptance; final payment deadline May 1, 2026. Hosted by NC Gold Foundation and cohosted with The Lucky Strike.
