The fair seeks non-food vendors first based on product originality, then order of application receipt; food vendors are selected competitively from applications, with emphasis on menu variety, food service experience, and fairgoer appeal. Subleasing is prohibited. New non-food applications roll year-round; new food applications close at year-end. Booth spaces are approximately 10' x 10', mostly covered, on firm dirt or pavement.

Girdwood Forest Fair (51st Annual)
CraftRunning since 1975, Girdwood Forest Fair is a juried craft fair showcasing hundreds of handmade Alaskan art and artisan products. All work must be hand-crafted by the artist — no pre-manufactured, screen-printed, or mass-produced items. Printed art prints, photo prints, and stickers are allowed; printed apparel (t-shirts, hoodies, drinkware) is not. Hand-dyed or handmade clothing is accepted after application review. The fair is free to the public and set in a forest environment — expect uneven terrain, roots, and no electrical access. Booth locations may be ¼ mile off the main trail; the committee does not place similar vendors adjacent to one another.
